On 12 November, Valmiera Industrial Park will host a media day. During the event, the Valmiera Municipality will inform the media about the infrastructure works currently underway in the park – the construction of engineering networks, the internal railway network and its connection, the construction of a transhipment yard, as well as about the auctions for development rights to attract investors. It will be an opportunity to see first-hand the 10-year process of creation, development, and future of the largest industrial park of national importance in Vidzeme, as well as to obtain historical photo and video materials. The event will also provide an opportunity to interview the implementers and construction contractors of the Valmiera Industrial Park Development project.

As previously informed, the Valmiera Municipality is developing a new industrial p park of national importance for the development of smart specialisation manufacturing companies in the Vidzeme region on a 57.55 ha plot of land in the Valmiera Industrial Park. By the end of 2025, the Valmiera Municipality, with the support of the European Recovery Fund in the amount of 20 million, will provide potential tenants with a logistics connection for freight transport with public railway, access to industrial electricity connection, the possibility to connect to utilities, as well as to carry out industrial development, offering the term of the right of development up to 70 years in accordance with the amount of investment made, by implementing project No 3.1.1.i.0/1/23/A/CFLA/008 “Valmiera Industrial Park Development” in the territory of the park.
