Expanding its network, the energy commodities trader and convenience store network AS VIRŠI-A (hereinafter – Virši) opens its second full-service facility in Valmiera — at “Degļi,” Brandeļi, Kocēni Parish, Valmiera Municipality. Investing EUR 2 million in the construction of the service station, the Company landscaped an area of 8,617 m2.
To ensure convenient access to the facility from both directions of the A3 highway, a lane for left turns has been constructed. The location will be open to customers 24 hours a day, providing a wide range of shopping facilities, a comfortable indoor and outdoor seating area, as well as fuel and charging facilities for three electric cars. The roof of the service station is equipped with solar panels that will convert solar radiation into electricity for the facility’s own consumption. It also has a spacious car park that can comfortably accommodate up to 22 cars and four trucks.

In recent years, we have found that our existing site in Valmiera had reached its operational capacity limits, so we are pleased to open a second location in this beautiful Latvian city. “Virši Valmiera 2” offers automatic refuelling with the most popular options (95 and 98 petrol, diesel, Adblue), as well as dispensable windscreen fluid. There is one 160 kW CCS plug-in and one 40 kW CCS or CHAdeMO plug-in. The total charging capacity is 200 kW, with up to 160 kW available for one car at a time.
